Substrate and edge prep hone also provide security against chipping or fracturing when boring with interrupted cutting. Suited for weld preparation beveling, Model 9000 Bevel Mill uses standard carbide inserts in milling cutter for beveling most machinable materials including mild steel, aluminum, and stainless steel. Machine is self-supporting on workpiece and is hand fed by operator along edge of plate at up to 6 fpm. Unit offers variable angle adjustments from 15-45°.
